From July 20–28, 35 secondary school students from around the world will begin their in-person GCI Fellowship, which is being held for the third consecutive year at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. At the GCI Summit, this year's cohort of Fellows will learn new frameworks for dialogue and problem-solving while building a global lifelong network of peers. They will also hear from international thought leaders and social entrepreneurs on the topics of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, innovation, and the social good.
During their time in Scotland, Fellows will envision local solutions to global issues through the development of their Glocal Service Projects. Upon returning home, and during the yearlong Fellowship program that follows, Fellows will collaborate with carefully matched mentors to further refine and implement their projects.
We are thrilled to welcome a diverse cohort of students, who are described in the 2024 GCI Fellowship Snapshot below. These are the next generation of global changemakers!
