GCI Fellowship 2022 Application Webinar: January 8, 2022

Updated: Jan 5, 2022

Interested students and school counselors/teachers are invited to join a GCI webinar to learn more about the GCI Fellowship application process!

Saturday, January 8 | Fellowship 2022 Application Webinar | 10:00AM ET or 8:00PM ET

GCI is currently accepting applications from secondary school students for the GCI Fellowship 2022! The deadline to apply is January 31, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET. We encourage all students to begin their application as early as possible, to give themselves, their parent(s)/guardian(s) and 2 recommenders enough time to work on the application’s various components.

To help interested secondary school students and school counselors/teachers better understand the Fellowship application timeline, process and components, GCI will host an application focused webinar on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM ET. Students and school counselors/teachers should join the webinar for:

  • a brief introduction to the GCI Fellowship program

  • a detailed overview of the application timeline and components

  • audience Q&A

REGISTER FOR JANUARY 8, 10:00 AM ET WEBINAR:

*Please note that due to low enrollment for the 8:00PM ET webinar, GCI has cancelled and consolidated the webinar into just the 10:00AM ET time. We look forward to you joining us! Please reach out to support@globalci.org if you have any questions.

The Summit, GCI’s flagship program, convenes secondary school students from across the globe in an intensive, nine-day experience where they explore global issues through the lens of ethical leadership, while learning new frameworks for dialogue and problem-solving rooted in mutual respect and empathy. Following the Summit, participants are partnered with mentors to complete a 10-month Fellowship in which they develop local service projects.

Since 2014, GCI has hosted 160 students from 70 countries ⎯ including Colombia, Zimbabwe, Japan, Syria, the United States, Iran, Afghanistan ⎯ whose local service projects have positively impacted communities worldwide.
